先装了Endnote，再装word，常会导致启动word后找不到endnote的工具条，也不认得endnote的格式。如何给给word添加endnote的工具条？endnote的官方FAQ也提到了这个问题IdonotseetheEndNotetoolbarorcommandsinMicrosoftWord.HowcanIgettheWindowsEndNote8/9CWYWcommandstoappearinMicrosoftWord2000/XP/2003?
A:Youmustinstalltheprogramwhileloggedinastheuserwhowillberunningtheprogram,andthisaccountmusthaveadministrativerightstothelocalmachineduringinstallationinorderforWindowstobeconfiguredcorrectly.
ThesimplestwaytogetthetoolstoappearinWord2000/XP/2003istoruntheEndNoteinstalleragain.Afteracceptingthelicenseagreementyouwillbepromptedforthetypeofinstallationyouwouldliketoperform.Oncetheinstallationfinishes,openEndNoteandalibrary.ThenopenWordandchecktheToolsmenufortheEndNotecommands.

Ifyoudonotseethe.wlland.dotfileextensions,gototheToolsmenuandselectFolderOptions/Viewtab.Unchecktheboxthatreads“Hidefileextensionsforknownfiletypes”andclickOK.LocatetheWordStartupfolderandpastethesetwofilesintothisfolder.Ifyoucannotfindthespecifiedfolder,yourWindowspreferencesmaybesettohidethefolder.InWindowsExplorergotoTools/FolderOptions/Viewtabandmakesurethat'Showhiddenfilesandfolders'isselected.LaunchMicrosoftWord.
Beforeyouusethetoolsforthefirsttime,closeWord,thenopenEndNoteandanEndNotelibrary,thenre-openWordandclickononeoftheEndNotetools.TheprogramsmustonlybeopenedinthisorderthefirsttimeyouusethetoolssothatWindowswillbeconfiguredcorrectly.简而言之就是把Endnote安装路径下的两个文件EN8CWYW.dot和EN8Cwyw.WordXP.wll拷到，如安装目录中没有该文件，可到上面提到的地址中下载相应的文件C:\DocumentsandSettings\YOURNAME\ApplicationData\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP下面，打开word，OK。不同版本的word、endnote的做法稍有不同。 |
